The end of the 20th century has been an era of technological advancement in motor.
Constant efforts and improvement, from fine automobile engines to electronic equipment, have made speed a more important aspect of motor. We have entered an era of automotive safety, yet speeds have increased constantly. There is also a need for a new design of engines and electronic equipment so that they can be made more reliable. To meet the demand for such efficient engines and electronic equipment, speed must become an important part of product development.
As we know, higher speed will bring about higher efficiency and power. We have also experienced in the automobile industry that a motor with a higher speed can use less fuel, compared with one with a lower speed. To increase the speed of the motor, many methods can be used. However, the most effective way to increase the speed is to increase the torque. Torque, as we know, is the capacity of a motor to develop the power necessary to cause a load to move.
We know that generating high torque requires a motor with a high voltage (or current), and it is costly to increase the voltage (or current) of the motor. We have no choice but to increase the torque by simply increasing the size of the motor, using more powerful magnets, or improving the efficiency of the motor.
Increasing the speed is not an easy task, though. One way is to increase the number of turns in the coil or rotor of the motor. This way will, however, increase the space requirement of the motor. Another way is to increase the magnetic flux of the motor. This method requires a special design of the rotor or stator, which is usually expensive. Still another way is to increase the output of the motor, as was done in the electrical generator. However, this will require the use of a large-sized generator, which is not very economical.
All the speed-increasing methods, except for increasing the number of turns, are based on the principle of increasing the magnetic flux. In motor design, the generating torque and speed are related to the magnetic flux and output of the motor. Therefore, it is very important to increase the output of the motor, or increase the magnetic flux, or reduce the reluctance of the magnetic circuit.
Most motors can be classified as two types, namely, the "closed" type, and the "open" type. A closed motor means that the rotor is placed inside the stator. It 01e38acffe

loki would love it if you post this link in his thread, my advice is to post it in a new thread so he can keep his head from splitting.

If it's a new thread, how does it affect our current thread. If it affects our thread, how would we know? If it doesn't affect our thread, what is the problem? In other words, how does it affect us? (not THAT way...)

"It" is the mod.

It does not affect our thread. If it does not affect our thread, how would it be a problem? What is the problem? What is the problem? What is the problem?
If it is a problem, why are we still working on it?

The problem is that our thread was made without the benefit of a mod's discretion.
